After twelve years of joint concerted efforts, the strategic collaboration of Zhejiang University and The Hong Kong Polytechnic University has nurtured the International Executive Development Center to be a well established education and training center on the mainland.
Over the years, the collaboration strives for being a first class training base for industrial professionals. By sharing international experience and expertise in our areas of strength, our graduates are equipped with international competitiveness in their profession.
Under the approval of the State's Ministry of Education and the State Council, we have successfully launched these programmes: Master of Science in Quality Management, Master of Science in Hotel and Tourism Management and Bachelor of Nursing. While the Master of International Real Estate is recognized by The Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS), the Executive Master of Business Administration (EMBA) has received confirmation of accreditation by the Association of MBA and European Quality Improvement System. In 2006, the State Education Ministry ranked all the programmes run by the Center as "very satisfied", which gives a solid ground for further collaboration between the two Universities.

With the aim of providing a first-class training base for nurturing management executives, the Center has combined the distinct advantages of both universities in the provision of high-quality award-bearing programmes.
Since its establishment in 1997, the Center has successfully launched a variety of professional programmes of international standard for the business and industrial sectors in the Chinese mainland. The Center presently provides the largest number and most diversified joint programmes offered through collaborative partnership between tertiary institutions in and outside the mainland.
In actively forging the partnership with Zhejiang University and complementing the strengths of each other, PolyU's education development in the Chinese mainland has proven to be on the right track.
